  • Christmas Performances

Words could not express how beautifully our Ave Maria Chorus and support Actors brought the message of Christmas to the many souls in attendance. Eight sites were visited and for many, this was the only true Christmas Presentation they attended. The staff in each place were helpful and receptive and delighted to have our group there.

This is mission. This is witnessing to the Gospel. This is evangelization. This is a search for needy souls. The greatest delight is knowing that we who are ministering are growing as well.

May God richly bless each member of this group with needed graces for growth in this New Year.

  • Reparation Offerings

Days of prayer for this Reparation Family are: Tuesday, January 16th: Our Lady of Refuge; and Wednesday, January 31st: St. John Bosco, Priest.

Saturday, February 10th: St. Scolastica; and Wednesday, February 21st: St. Peter Damian. Let us join in prayerful reflection on these days for our Donnès and the many needs and petitions of our world.

Monthly days set aside for fasting, abstinence and prayer for priests and seminarians are: Friday, January 5th: St. John Neumann, Bishop who began the 40 hours Devotion in US, and Friday, January 26th: Sts. Timothy and Polycarp.; Tuesday, February 6th: St. Paul Miki and Companions; and Thursday, February 22nd: The Chair of St. Peter.

Support to the priesthood is a charism of Reparation Community.

  • Lighted Candles

Can be requested for your special intentions. They are seven-day votives that will burn in our chapel before the Most Blessed Sacrament in your name. Offering is $4.00.

  • Weekly Mass for Donnes

We are blessed and fortunate to have a 2:00 pm Mass scheduled each week in our “Rose Hall” Chapel with our Chaplain, Fr. Jon Buffington.

Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament begins by 1:30 PM. A Reparation Family meal concludes the afternoon.

  • Faith Alive

Faith Alive Classes are moved to the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 PM. January 18th will be our next gathering and February 15th will follow.

During this season, we will be studying Chapter One of Life in Christ, namely, the Dignity of the Human Person in the Catholic Catechism. Let us strengthen our understanding together!

  • Lent

Lent is a special time for our Reparation Family. It begins on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. We usually recognize our loved ones with Valentine cards or gifts. This year let us consider some special remembrance for Our Beloved Lord, His Mother and the Saints as we enter into our Lenten journey.

The gift of flowers or candy can be easily translated into some small sacrifice or prayer gift. Perhaps a novena of Masses or prayers could be offered. Consider holding your tongue when you want to respond to someone’s bothersome behavior. Or, count ejaculations instead of sheep! You will find the way.

  • Ave Maria Chorus

On the second Wednesday of the Month, Mass is scheduled with Fr. Bob Barricks at 3:00 pm. Our Mass for January is on the 10th. The February Mass is on Ash Wednesday, 2/14/24. A potluck follows the Mass. We will begin our Paschal Rehearsals on Wednesday, 2/14.
