Holy Family Prayer
Father in Heaven, Creator of all, You ordered the earth to bring forth life and crowned its goodness by creating the family of man.
In history’s moment when all was ready, You sent your Son to dwell in time, obedient to the laws of life in your world.
Teach us the sanctity of human love, show us the value of family life, and help us to live in peace with everyone that we may share in your life forever.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Prayer to Saint Joseph
Glorious Saint Joseph, model of all who are dedicated to labor, obtain for me the grace to work in the spirit of love and to faithfully place my responsibilities above my own desires.
Help me to work with joy and gratitude. Let me consider it an honor to use and develop the gifts I have received from God. Aid me to work with order, peace, moderation and patience.
Help me to work above all for the Glory of God and the coming of His Kingdom. May I remember that I am to give an account of the gifts and talents that I have received. Amen.
Prayer to the Holy Magi
O Almighty God, we raise our voices to You, that You may hear us and have mercy on us. You can assist us in a wonderful manner.
God of sanctity, God of strength, Immortal God, have mercy on us.
We implore You through the merits of Jesus Christ, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, Saint Joseph, of the Holy Magi, Kings Gaspar, Melchior, Balthazar, and all your saints deign to grant us here below temporal blessings, and above all the blessing of eternal life. Amen.
For Peace in Families
Lord Jesus, countless families need Your help today. They are searching for tranquility and peace, and an end to discord. Give them strength and compassion to understand each other; wisdom and love to help each other; and the trust and patience they need to live peacefully together.
Grant that through the intercession of Your mother, Mary, and St. Joseph, these families may each become a holy family - a family that works together as one; a family that whole-heartily embraces peace and love; a family whose members are dedicated to each other and to God; a family who cares and shares with any needy family anywhere on earth. Amen.
That They May have Life
Mother Mary, as you carried your Divine Child in your womb, you rejoiced and glorified the Lord.
Touch with pity the hearts of those women, pregnant in our world today, who think of murder, not motherhood.
Help them to see that the child they carry is made to God’s image - as well as theirs, and is made for eternal life.
Dispel their fear and selfishness. Give them true womanly hearts to love their babies and give them birth…and all the needed care that a mother alone can give.
Mary, Mother of Christ and of us, show us all one day the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. Amen.
