REPARATION OFFERINGS

Days of prayer for this Reparation Family are: Monday, September 14th, The Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and Wednesday, September 23rd, St. Pius of Pietrelcina, Priest; Friday, October 2nd, The Holy Guardian Angels, and Friday, October 16th, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, Virgin. Let us join in prayerful reflection on these days for our Donnès and the many needs and petitions of our world.

Fasting, Abstinence and Prayer for Priests Days set aside each month for priests and seminarians. Wednesday, September 16th, Sts. Cornelius, Pope, and Cyprian, Bishop, Martyrs, and Wednesday, September 30th, St. Jerome, Priest and Doctor of the Church; Friday, October 9th, St. Denis, Bishop and Companions, Martyrs; and Friday, October 23rd, St. John of Capistrano, Priest. Support for the priesthood through daily prayer coupled with days of fasting and prayer, has been a charism of this Reparation Community from its inception.  Strengthening our priests and Seminarians is vital to all the works of our beloved Church and its Sacramental Life.

As we journey through these two months, several “Community” days should be considered. Sister Aloysius’ Anniversary of death is September 15th, Our Lady of Sorrows.

Our Community has always had a devotion to the Twelve Apostles thus remembering St. Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist, September 21st and Sts. Simon and Jude, Apostles, October 28th.

Mother Therese celebrated the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, October 1st as her name day. She had dedicated her entire musical career to her. She also visited and sang at the Shrine of the North American Martyrs: Sts. John de Brebeuf, Isaac Jogues, Priests and Companions, Martyrs whose feast is October 19th.

We honor our Lady especially on September 12, the Holy Name of Mary and September 15th, Our Lady of Sorrows, and October 7th, Our Lady of the Rosary.

We are blessed and fortunate to have Mass scheduled each Sunday at 2:00 PM. With our Chaplain, Father Jon Buffington.  Fr. Paul Jeyamani will offer Mass on Sunday, October 4th.  Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Benediction precedes each Mass at 1:30 PM.

We are studying the Catechism on the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 PM. Our next class will be Thursday, September 17th, followed by October 15th. We share a meal and strengthen our understanding of faith.

Can be requested for your special intentions. They are seven-day votives that will burn in our chapel before the Most Blessed Sacrament in your name. Offering is $4.00.

Ave Maria Chorus Mass

Our next monthly Mass is Wednesday, September 9th at 3:00 PM with, Fr. Paul Jeyamani, Pastor of All Saints Parish. We will share a potluck meal. The next month’s Mass is Wednesday, October 14th at 3:00 pm. A potluck will follow. 

Ave Maria Chorus Rehearsals

There are many extra-curricular activities going on for our various members. Consequently, we will gather on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM for weekly rehearsals starting November 4th. This should give us adequate time for Christmas presentations in mid-December.
