Reparation Offerings and Fasting Prayer for Priests
REPARATION OFFERINGS
Days of prayer for this Reparation Family are: Tuesday, July 14th, St. Kateri Tekawitha, Virgin and Wednesday, July 29th, Sts. Martha, Mary and Lazarus; Tuesday, August 11th, St. Clare, Virgin and Thursday, August 27th, St. Monica. Let us join in prayerful reflection on these days for our Donnès and the many needs and petitions of our world.
Fasting, Abstinence and Prayer for Priests
Days set aside each month for priests and seminarians: Tuesday, July 21st, St. Lawrence of Brindisi, Priest, and Friday, July 31st, St. Ignatius of Loyola, Priest; Friday, August 14th, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Priest and Martyr; and Friday, August 28th, St. Augustine, Bishop and Doctor of the Church. Support to the priesthood through daily prayer coupled with days of fasting and prayer, has been a charism of this Reparation Community from its inception. Strengthening our priests and Seminarians is vital to all the works of our beloved Church and its Sacramental Life.

Special Feasts
As we journey during these two months, several “Community” days should be considered. Mother Regina Rose had a lifetime devotion to Our Lady of Mount Carmel whose feast is July 16th. Mother Thérèse traveled with hundreds of pilgrims and sang at the Shrine of St. Anne De Beaupre in Quebec, Canada on her feast, July 26th. Sr. Mary Immaculate made her first private vows on the Feast of the Assumption, August 15th. Mother Regina Rose celebrated the Feast of the Queenship of Mary as her name day, August 22nd. Our Community has always had a devotion to the Twelve Apostles thus remembering St. James, July 25th, St. Thomas, July 3rd, and St. Bartholomew, August 24th.
Words of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen:
“Do not stunt your spiritual life by looking always for your faults. Think of God’s love. Never despair! Not until God ceases to be infinitely good and you begin to be infinitely wicked have you a right to be hopeless. His pardoning grace will save you, if you do not lock it out.
If you still insist that you never before prayed in your life and therefore God would not listen to you now, my answer is: Pray anyway. A strange voice is always the one most quickly heard.”
