The Sisters of Reparation, had foundresses who truly loved their God and Spouse. He blessed the gift of their lives with so much joy, happiness and fulfillment. They believed their gifts to Him were so insignificant and His response to them so maganinmous, but quickly realized that God cannot be outdone in generosity. He loves and takes such good care of His committed women today, just as He cared for the Holy Women who followed Him when He was on earth. This abiding love kept our Foundresses strong and courageous in trials and suffering. They were steadfast and obedient and faithful to the Church no matter how difficult the requests. They were women of prayer, and certainly worth imitating.
Mother Mary Rose Therese heard His call while singing on the Concert stages of America and in her works of charity. She gave up the glamour and the glitter for a life to serve God in serving others. She was always open to receive anyone who came for help. She cooked gourmet meals for bishops, priests, and other Religious: and yes, even for the transients who came to the door for a handout. Mother Therese was blessed with many artistic talents. She had utilized sewing and design in making her stage costumes. Later expressed it in beautifying Liturgical ceremonies. With her musical gifts she taught thousands of children to sing, directed many Choruses, and often raised funds for Catholic causes. But she sang only for God.
Mother Regina Rose received her call as a young girl while sick and in a bed of pain. God blessed her with an active life of teaching, nursing, counseling and spiritual direction. Many she instructed entered the Church, and faithfully serve today. The school children she taught and prepared for First Communion still sing her praises. Those she nursed remain a tribute to her love and caring.
These good women came from two entirely different walks of life, but together, their lies became a beautiful and blended melody, sung for God alone.
Their heritage is very precious to us, Sister of Reparation of the Sacred Wounds of Jesus and we want to share it with other young women who have the willingness to live a life of FAITHFUL WITNESS TO OUR LORD
